Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Patients with chronic and acute neck and spinal pain, along with shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and foot pain are seen by our specialised physiotherapists, offering high-quality care and long-term solutions using the latest evidence-based treatment.

Physiotherapy is the premier treatment, rehabilitation and preventative health profession. Our specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists apply an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and normal movement and function of the body to assess, diagnose and manage symptoms of your condition. Everything we do, whether it is how we work, how we play sport or simply how we stand, involves a complex interaction between our muscles, joints and nervous system.

Excellence in Assessment

During your consultation we will review your medical history and assess your physical condition. Together we will discuss your symptoms, other contributing factors and answer any questions you may have. Our physiotherapists will provide you with an accurate diagnosis before treating you to relieve pain and regain movement. During your consultation you will increase your understanding and learn how to enhance your recovery and implement a self-managed program.

Your physiotherapist will review your medical history and undertake a comprehensive physical assessment to provide you with an accurate diagnosis of your presenting condition. This assessment process will allow your physiotherapist to identify areas of dysfunction and work together with you to provide an effective individualised rehabilitation programme that is realistic and achievable for you. Your treatment plan will be augmented by manual therapy where required, for pain relief or increased mobility. This approach aims to optimise the effect of your rehabilitation programme. All our staff pride themselves on providing clients with treatment based on current best practice and up to date evidence. Consequently, all the treatment that we perform at PHYSIO 64 is not just directed at healing your problem, but importantly directed at getting you back doing the things you love.
